一則本生故事：一名婆羅門苦行者供奉的聖火燒燬自己的茅屋，後見一隻鹿安然與猛獸為友，悟出良友勝過一切，藉以說明奉祀聖火之無益。

A Jātaka about a brahmin ascetic whose sacred fire burns down his own hut, who then witnesses a deer safely befriending predators and concludes there is nothing better than good friends, told to show the futility of fire-worship.
