PersonUn sanctuaire à l’ouest de Vesāli, dont le nom viendrait de sept princesses, filles du roi Kiki de Bārāṇasī, qui y rivalisèrent jadis pour l’accomplissement spirituel ; d’abord dédié à une divinité, il devint la résidence du Bouddha après sa visite à Vesāli.
A shrine west of Vesāli, said to derive its name from seven princesses, daughters of King Kiki of Bārāṇasī, who once contended there for spiritual attainment; originally dedicated to a deity, it became a residence for the Buddha after his visit to Vesāli.
