Personヴェーサーリー西方の祠。バーラーナシー王キキの七人の王女たちが、かつてそこで精神的境地を競い合ったことから名付けられたと言われる。もとは神格に捧げられていたが、ブッダのヴェーサーリー訪問後、彼の居所となった。
A shrine west of Vesāli, said to derive its name from seven princesses, daughters of King Kiki of Bārāṇasī, who once contended there for spiritual attainment; originally dedicated to a deity, it became a residence for the Buddha after his visit to Vesāli.
