  • වේසාලියේ බටහිර දෙසින් පිහිටි දේවාලයකි; බරණැස රජ කිකිගේ දූවරුන් වූ කුමරියන් හත් දෙනෙක් වරක් අධ්‍යාත්මික සාධනය සඳහා එහි තරඟ කළ බැවින් එයින් නම ලැබුණු බව කියැවේ; මුලින් දෙවියෙකුට කැප කර තිබූ නමුත් බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ වේසාලියට වැඩම කිරීමෙන් පසු එය උන් වහන්සේගේ වාසස්ථානයක් බවට පත් විය.

  • A shrine west of Vesāli, said to derive its name from seven princesses, daughters of King Kiki of Bārāṇasī, who once contended there for spiritual attainment; originally dedicated to a deity, it became a residence for the Buddha after his visit to Vesāli.
