ဗုဒ္ဓ၏ ဆံတော်ကို သီရိလင်္ကာသို့ ယူဆောင်ခဲ့သော Lambakaṇṇa မှ မှူးကြီးမတ်ရာတစ်ဦး၊ နောက်ပိုင်း ဓာတ်တော်ကို ကာကွယ်ရန် ဓားကိုင်အဖြစ် လူထွက်ခဲ့ပြီး နောက်ဆုံးတွင် ရာဇပလ္လင်ကို သိမ်းယူကာ Ambasāmaṇera-Silākāla အမည်ဖြင့် တစ်ဆယ့်သုံးနှစ်တိုင် နန်းစံခဲ့သည်။

A Lambakaṇṇa nobleman who brought the Buddha’s Hair Relic to Sri Lanka, later returned to lay life as sword-bearer to the relic, and eventually seized the throne to rule for thirteen years as Ambasāmaṇera-Silākāla.
