බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ කේශ ධාතුව ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට ගෙන ආ Lambakaṇṇa ප්‍රභූවරයෙකි; පසුව ධාතුවේ කඩුකරුවා ලෙස ගිහි ජීවිතයට පැමිණ, අවසානයේ රාජසිංහාසනය අල්ලාගෙන Ambasāmaṇera-Silākāla නමින් වසර දහතුනක් රාජ්‍යය කළේය.

A Lambakaṇṇa nobleman who brought the Buddha’s Hair Relic to Sri Lanka, later returned to lay life as sword-bearer to the relic, and eventually seized the throne to rule for thirteen years as Ambasāmaṇera-Silākāla.
