A nephew of Vijayabāhu I, son of the king’s sister Mittā and a Paṇḍu king, who married Sugalā, governed Aṭṭhasahassa from a capital he built himself, had two children — Mānābharaṇa and Līlāvatī — and later fought against Gajabāhu.
