सोरेय्य नगर के एक करोड़पति का पुत्र, जो थेर महाकच्चायन के सुंदर शरीर को देखकर अनुचित इच्छा से तुरंत स्त्री में बदल गया, एक धनी व्यक्ति की पत्नी बनकर विवाह किया और संतानें जनीं, अंततः उसी थेर द्वारा पुनः पुरुष रूप पाकर भिक्षु बना और अर्हत्व प्राप्त किया।
