수부띠(수보리). 부처님의 대제자 중 한 분으로, 무쟁제일(無諍第一)과 응공제일(應供第一)로 칭송된 아라한 비구.

etadaggaṃ, bhikkhave, mama sāvakānaṃ bhikkhūnaṃ araṇavihārīnaṃ yadidaṃ subhūti.

Person아나타삔디까의 동생으로, 제따와나 봉헌식에서 출가하여 자애 명상으로 아라한과를 얻었고, 평온하게 머무는 자 중 제일이자 공양받기에 가장 합당한 자로 선언되었다
The younger brother of Anāthapiṇḍika who, after ordaining at the dedication of Jetavana, attained Arahantship through loving-kindness meditation and was declared foremost among those who dwell in peace and those most worthy of offerings.
