一部经，波斯匿王之妹向佛陀请问：两位在信、戒、慧上相等的弟子，若一位乐善好施、一位不然，其果报是否有别，佛陀答以布施者在寿命、美貌、快乐、荣誉与权势上皆胜过对方，直至双方证得阿罗汉果方无差别。

A discourse in which Pasenadi’s sister asks the Buddha whether a generous and a stingy disciple, otherwise equal in faith and virtue, differ in their outcomes, and he explains that the giver surpasses the other in life span, beauty, happiness, honour and power until both attain Arahantship.
