バラモン、スジャータの娘で、父が出家した際、母の祝福を受けて自らも家庭生活を捨てて出家し阿羅漢果を得て、後にサーヴァッティーへ赴き仏陀の前で自らの悟りを宣言した

A daughter of the brahmin Sujāta who, when her father joined the Order, likewise renounced the household life with her mother’s blessing and attained Arahantship, later travelling to Sāvatthi to proclaim her realization before the Buddha.
