講述 Mithilā 王子 Suruci 的本生故事：他娶 Bārāṇasī 公主 Sumedhā 為唯一正妻，兩人久婚無子，後 Sumedhā 以真實語的誓願感召菩薩投生為其子。

A Jātaka about Prince Suruci of Mithilā, who married Sumedhā, princess of Bārāṇasī, on condition she be his only wife, and whose long childlessness was ended when Sumedhā’s Act of Truth brought about the birth of the Bodhisatta as their son.
