त्रिपिटक के तीन भागों में से एक, जिसमें पाँच निकाय शामिल हैं—दीघ, मज्झिम, संयुत्त, अंगुत्तर तथा खुद्दक निकाय—पहले चार स्वभाव में परस्पर घनिष्ठ रूप से संबंधित हैं, तथा कई सुत्त एक से अधिक निकाय में पाए जाते हैं।
