讲述金色童子 Suvaṇṇasāma 的本生故事：菩萨投生为林中两位苦行父母之子，因肤色如金而得名，父母被蛇毒致盲后由他悉心奉养，后在取水时被 Bārāṇasī 王 Piḷiyakkha 误射。

A Jātaka about Suvaṇṇasāma, the golden-hued son of two ascetic parents in the forest, who was the Bodhisatta and devotedly cared for his parents after they were blinded by snake venom, until he himself was shot by King Piḷiyakkha while fetching water.
