නාට්‍ය කණ්ඩායම් ප්‍රධානියා වූ Tālapuṭa, ප්‍රේක්ෂකයන් සතුටු කරන රංගන ශිල්පීන් සිනාසෙන දෙවියන් අතරට උපදින්නේදැයි බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගෙන් විමසන අතර, ඒ වෙනුවට ඉන්ද්‍රිය ආශාව අවුස්සීම සිනා නිරයකට යොමු කරන බව ඉගෙන ගන්නා අතර, පසුව ඔහු පැවිදි වී රහත් බව ලබන දේශනාවකි.

A discourse in which the actor-manager Tālapuṭa asks the Buddha whether performers who delight audiences are reborn among laughing gods, and learns instead that inducing sensual passion leads to a hell of laughter, after which he enters the Order and attains Arahantship.
