พระสูตรที่หัวหน้าคณะนักแสดง Tālapuṭa ทูลถามพระพุทธเจ้าว่านักแสดงที่ทำให้ผู้ชมสนุกสนานจะไปเกิดในหมู่เทพผู้รื่นเริงหรือไม่ แต่กลับทรงแสดงว่าการยั่วยุกิเลสจะนำไปสู่นรกแห่งเสียงหัวเราะ หลังจากนั้นเขาจึงบวชและบรรลุอรหัตผล

A discourse in which the actor-manager Tālapuṭa asks the Buddha whether performers who delight audiences are reborn among laughing gods, and learns instead that inducing sensual passion leads to a hell of laughter, after which he enters the Order and attains Arahantship.
