බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ සමකාලීන කීර්තිමත් හා ධනවත් බ්‍රාහ්මණයෙකි. වාසෙට්ඨගේ මිතුරු භාරද්වාජට ඉගැන්වූ අතර, ඉච්ඡානංගල හා මනසාකට හි බ්‍රාහ්මණ රැස්වීම්වලට සහභාගී විය.
