Placeラージャガハ(Rājagaha)郊外のヴェーバーラ(Vebhāra)山の麓にある大きな湖。湖自体は冷たいが、二つの地獄の間を流れると言われる熱い流れを供給し、比丘たちに好まれる沐浴の場でありナーガの遊び場でもあった。
A large lake below Mount Vebhāra outside Rājagaha, cool itself but feeding a hot stream said to flow between two hells, and a favoured bathing spot for monks and a playground for Nāgā.
