本生故事，講一位無嗣國王收養了貓頭鷹、鷯哥與鸚鵡三隻由拾得之蛋孵化而成的義子，三者各以十一首偈頌教導治國之道，後皆獲封高位。

A birth story of a childless king who raised an owl, a mynah and a parrot hatched from found eggs as his heirs, each of whom in turn gave him eleven verses of counsel on kingship before rising to high office.
