ဗုဒ္ဓသည် ဝေသာလီမြို့ရှိ ပရိဗိုဇ် ဝစ္ဆဂေါတ်ထံ လျှောက်သွားပြီး၊ မိမိကို “ဝိဇ္ဇာသုံးပါးရှင်” ဟုခေါ်ရသည်မှာ ရှေးဘဝများကို အောက်မေ့သတိရနိုင်ခြင်း၊ ဒိဗ္ဗစက္ခုရှိခြင်း၊ အာသဝေါကို ချေမှုန်းပြီးဖြစ်ခြင်းကြောင့်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ရှင်းပြသည့် ဒေသနာတော်ဖြစ်သည်။

A discourse in which the Buddha visits the wanderer Vacchagotta at Vesāli and explains that he is called ‘possessor of the threefold knowledge’ because he recollects his past lives, possesses the divine eye, and has destroyed the corruptions.
