Personマッジマデーサ西端の婆羅門村。敵意を抱く村人たちは訪れた仏陀への水と歓待を拒もうとしたが、水を差し出して処刑された婢女が忉利天に生まれ変わり、仏陀の神通力で村の井戸が溢れ出し村人たちは折れた。
A brahmin village on the western edge of Majjhimadesa whose hostile inhabitants tried to deny the visiting Buddha water and hospitality, until a slave woman who offered him a drink, though killed for it, was reborn in Tāvatiṃsa, and the Buddha’s power caused the village wells to overflow until the people relented.
