Person位于中国（Majjhimadesa）西境的一处婆罗门村落，村民因心怀敌意而企图断绝造访的佛陀的饮水与接待，一名给佛陀水喝而被处死的婢女却因此转生忉利天，佛陀更以神通令井水泛滥，村民这才悔悟接纳。
A brahmin village on the western edge of Majjhimadesa whose hostile inhabitants tried to deny the visiting Buddha water and hospitality, until a slave woman who offered him a drink, though killed for it, was reborn in Tāvatiṃsa, and the Buddha’s power caused the village wells to overflow until the people relented.
