삿다 티사의 둘째 아들. 부왕이 죽은 후 스리랑카 왕으로 즉위했으나 한 달 남짓 만에 형 란자티사에게 폐위되었다. 짧은 재위 기간 동안 칸다라 승원과 시리사말라카의 탑을 세웠다.

The second son of Saddhā Tissa, crowned king of Sri Lanka on his father’s death but overthrown after little more than a month by his elder brother Lañjatissa, during whose brief reign he built the Kandara monastery and a shrine on Sirīsamālaka.
