마을 사람들이 근처에 정착한 뒤에도 좋아하는 틴두카(tinduka) 나무 열매를 몰래 따먹던 원숭이 무리에 관한 자타카로, 보살(Bodhisatta)인 우두머리의 침착한 지휘와 조카의 양동 불 덕분에 새벽녘 포획을 간신히 피했다는 이야기.
