Udāyī
Person又称 Paṇḍita Udāyī(以别于另一位同名僧人),迦毘罗卫一位婆罗门之子,出家证得阿罗汉果,曾作偈颂赞叹佛陀,将其比作雄伟大象。
A monk also called Paṇḍita Udāyī to distinguish him from another monk of similar name, son of a brahmin of Kapilavatthu, who became an Arahant and composed verses in praise of the Buddha comparing him to a magnificent elephant.
