Udāyī
Person又稱 Paṇḍita Udāyī(以別於另一位同名僧人),迦毘羅衛一位婆羅門之子,出家證得阿羅漢果,曾作偈頌讚嘆佛陀,將其比作雄偉大象。
A monk also called Paṇḍita Udāyī to distinguish him from another monk of similar name, son of a brahmin of Kapilavatthu, who became an Arahant and composed verses in praise of the Buddha comparing him to a magnificent elephant.
