Udapānadūsaka Jātaka
Jātaka一则本生故事,讲一只豺狼惯于弄脏一处苦行者共用的水井,被捉住后辩称自己不过是依循同类的习性,是佛陀就鹿野苑发生同样情事所说。
A birth story about a jackal who habitually fouls an ascetic community’s well and, when caught, explains he was merely following the way of his kind, told after the same offense occurred at Isipatana in the Buddha’s own time.
