위빳시 부처님 시대에 재가자였을 때 위나따 강가에서 그분을 만나 갓 딴 무화과를 공양한 아라한으로, 훗날의 빳짜야 장로와 동일인으로 여겨진다.

An arahant who, as a householder in the time of the Buddha Vipassī, met him on the bank of the river Vinatā and offered him freshly picked figs; he is thought to be the same person as the elder Paccaya.
