跋耆（Vajjī）境内王舍城通往吠舍离路上的一处村落，舍利弗曾驻锡于此，佛陀后来也曾在此高度赞扬刚去世的两位上首弟子舍利弗与目犍连。

A village of the Vajjī on the road between Rājagaha and Vesāli where Sāriputta once stayed, and to which the Buddha later came to praise his two chief disciples, Sāriputta and Moggallāna, after their deaths.
