本生故事講述菩薩投生 Mithilā 為神童 Mahosadha：他出生時手握藥草，幼年即以巧智解答種種難題，終成為 Vedeha 王座下最有智慧的大臣。

A Jātaka telling how the Bodhisatta was born in Mithilā as Mahosadha, a child prodigy who solved seemingly impossible problems and rose to become the wisest of King Vedeha’s counsellors.
