ブッダダッタの複数の著作に注釈書を著し、また『ルーパールーパヴィバーガ』と『シーマーランカーラサンガハ』の著者でもある、おそらく十二世紀のシンハラ僧。

A Sinhalese monk, probably of the twelfth century, who wrote commentaries to several of Buddhadatta’s works and was also the author of the Rūpārūpavibhāga and Sīmālaṅkārasaṅgaha.

A monk of Sri Lanka, pupil of Sāriputta Thera, credited with numerous grammatical commentaries and possibly the Pāḷi Thūpavaṃsa and several Sinhalese works.

ヴィジャヤバーフ3世のもとで僧伽の長を務め、仏陀の鉢と仏歯を安全のために隠し、のちに王が教団を改革するのを助けた人物で、おそらくヴァーチッサラ（2）と同一人物。

Probably identical with Vācissara (2), head of the Saṅgha under Vijayabāhu III, who hid the Buddha’s Almsbowl and Tooth Relic for safekeeping and later assisted the king in reforming the Order.
