Vācissara
Person一位斯里兰卡僧人,大约生活在十二世纪,为佛授的多部著作撰写注释,另著有《色非色分别》与《界严饰》等书。
A Sinhalese monk, probably of the twelfth century, who wrote commentaries to several of Buddhadatta’s works and was also the author of the Rūpārūpavibhāga and Sīmālaṅkārasaṅgaha.

A monk of Sri Lanka, pupil of Sāriputta Thera, credited with numerous grammatical commentaries and possibly the Pāḷi Thūpavaṃsa and several Sinhalese works.

Person可能即前一位跋支娑罗,在毘阇耶巴忽三世治下任僧团领袖,曾将佛陀的钵与牙舍利藏匿保护,后协助国王整顿僧团。
Probably identical with Vācissara (2), head of the Saṅgha under Vijayabāhu III, who hid the Buddha’s Almsbowl and Tooth Relic for safekeeping and later assisted the king in reforming the Order.
