一则本生故事，讲一匹为国王所珍爱的骏马被一头母驴倾心爱慕，母驴却在他终于前来探望时出于矜持踢开了他，随后因相思而死，此事讲给一位舍卫城地主听，他所爱之人也在他唯一一次探访时拒绝了他，随后同样因相思而亡。

A Jātaka about a king’s prized horse desperately loved by a she-ass, who nevertheless rebuffs him out of pride when he finally visits her and later dies of unfulfilled longing, told to a landowner of Sāvatthi whose own beloved rejected his advances on his one visit and then died of the same grief.
