一部經，講 Vaṅgīsa 在其師 Nigrodha Kappa 去世後，以偈頌請問佛陀其師是否證得涅槃，佛陀以偈作答確認其證悟，此經又稱 Nigrodhakappa Sutta。

A discourse in which, after his teacher Nigrodha Kappa’s death, Vaṅgīsa asks the Buddha whether he attained final liberation, and the Buddha confirms it in a poem, this being the encounter also known as the Nigrodhakappa Sutta.

一組偈頌，是比丘 Vaṅgīsa 在祇園證得阿羅漢果後不久所誦，表達自己得為佛陀弟子的欣悅。

A set of verses spoken by the monk Vaṅgīsa at Jetavana shortly after attaining Arahantship, in which he rejoices at having become a disciple of the Buddha.
