පිරිවැජි වච්ඡගොත්ත බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේට, ඉන් වෙන් වශයෙන් මහා මොග්ගල්ලානට, ලෝකයේ සදාකාලික බව බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ ස්ථිර නොකරන්නේ ඇයි දැයි විමසන, දෙදෙනාගෙන්ම එකම පිළිතුරු ලැබ ඔවුන්ගේ එකඟතාවයට පුදුම වන දේශනාවක්

A discourse recording the wanderer Vacchagotta’s question to the Buddha, and separately to Mahā-Moggallāna, as to why the Buddha will not affirm or deny the world’s eternity, receiving identical answers from both and marvelling at their agreement.

වෙනත් නිකායවලට දාන දීම බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ අධෛර්යමත් කරන්නේ දැයි වච්ඡගොත්ත විමසන, ඕනෑම සත්වයෙකුට කරන ඕනෑම දානයක් ම පින් ගෙන දෙන බව, එනමුත් ගුණවතුන්ට කරන දානය දුෂ්ටයන්ට කරන දානයට වඩා ඵලදායී බව බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ පිළිතුරු දෙන දේශනාවක්

A discourse in which Vacchagotta asks whether the Buddha discourages giving alms to other sects, and the Buddha replies that any gift to any creature bears merit, though gifts to the virtuous are more fruitful than gifts to the wicked.
