一則本生故事，講隱士 Vacchanakha 婉拒一位富友請他還俗共享財富的提議，指出在家生活的種種過患，是佛陀就末羅人 Roja 企圖以半數家財誘阿難還俗一事所說。

A birth story about the hermit Vacchanakha, who declines a wealthy friend’s offer to give up his robes and share his fortune, pointing out the disadvantages of household life, told in reference to the Malla Roja’s attempt to lure Ānanda back to lay life with an offer of half his possessions.
