친구들의 부추김을 받아 답바 말라풋타 비구를 간통 죄로 거짓 고발했다가 승가로부터 처벌받은 뒤 자백하고 용서받은 리차비족 사람으로, 아마도 왓다마나 장로와 동일 인물.
A Licchavi who falsely accused the monk Dabba Mallaputta of adultery at his friends’ instigation, was punished by the Saṅgha, then confessed and was forgiven, probably the same person as the elder Vaḍḍhamāna.
