Vajjī
Place古代インドの国であり氏族連合であり、十六大国の一つ。最も有力な氏族 Licchavī はこの連合体そのものと密接に同一視され、両方の名がしばしば互換的に用いられた。
A country and confederacy of clans in ancient India, one of the sixteen great states, whose most powerful member clan, the Licchavī, came to be so closely identified with it that the two names were often used interchangeably.
