Vajjiputta
Person毘舍离一位比丘,因城中喧闹的节庆感到厌烦,被一位林中精灵以偈颂责其轻视林居生活,他因此深受触动而修观,终证阿罗汉果。
A monk of Vesāli who, disgruntled at a noisy city festival, was rebuked in verse by a woodland spirit for spurning forest life and, taking the lesson to heart, developed insight and attained Arahantship.

Person离车(Licchavi)王族出身的一位比丘,自证阿罗汉果后,在佛陀涅槃后曾以一偈激励尚在有学位的阿难,助其证得阿罗汉果。
A monk of a Licchavi princely family who, after attaining Arahantship himself, uttered a verse following the Buddha’s death that helped spur Ānanda, still a learner, on to his own attainment of Arahantship.
