Son of a Malla chieftain of Pāvā who joined the Order with his companions Godhika, Subāhu, and Uttiya after witnessing the Twin Miracle during an embassy to Kapilavatthu.

Person舍卫城一位显赫婆罗门之子,因善友引荐得遇佛陀而出家,不久证得阿罗汉果,前生曾为辟支佛 Nārada 搭建芦苇茅舍。
Son of an eminent brahmin of Sāvatthi who, guided by good friends, met the Buddha, joined the Order, and soon attained Arahantship, having in a past life built a reed hut for the Pacceka Buddha Nārada.

Person本名 Gandimitta,出身吠舍离(Vesāli)一个婆罗门家庭,在大迦旃延门下出家,因凡事依赖同伴、如藤蔓般需要依附而得绰号,后依 Venudatta 长老之劝修得内观智慧。
Born Gandimitta to a brahmin family of Vesāli, he joined the Order under Mahā-Kaccāyana and, being nicknamed for his dependence on others like a creeper needing support, later developed insight on the advice of Venudatta Thera.
