Vasala Sutta
Sutta一部經,又稱 Aggikabhāradvāja Sutta,起因於一位婆羅門在佛陀托鉢時辱罵其為賤民,佛陀因而闡明使人成為賤民或真婆羅門的是行為而非出身。
A discourse, also called the Aggikabhāradvāja Sutta, given after a brahmin reviles the Buddha as an outcaste while he sought alms, in which the Buddha explains that it is one’s deeds, not one’s birth, that make a person an outcaste or a true brahmin.
