Personඅජාසත් රජුට නිතරම යොදන ලද පදවි නාමයකි, බුද්ධඝෝෂයන් වහන්සේ පැහැදිලි කරන්නේ එය විදේහ රාජකුමාරියක් ගැන සෘජු සඳහනක් නොව, ප්රඥාවන්ත ස්ත්රියකගේ පුත් යන අර්ථය පමණක් දරන බවයි.
An epithet constantly applied to King Ajātasattu, which Buddhaghosa explains means simply son of a wise woman rather than a literal reference to a princess of Videha.
