二十四佛中的第二十一位，誕生於阿諾摩（Anoma）園林，父為剎帝利蘇波提多（Suppatita），據傳出生當日曾如公牛般吼叫，其名即由此而來。

The twenty-first of the twenty-four Buddhas, born in the pleasance of Anoma to the warrior Suppatita, said to have roared like a bull on the day of his birth, from which his name derives.
