කල්ප අනූඑකකට පෙර විපස්සී බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ සේවකයෙකු ලෙස, පූජා කිරීමට වෙන කිසිවක් නොතිබූ නිසා, උන්වහන්සේගේ පාද මුල දී වන්දනා කළ රහතන් වහන්සේ කෙනෙකි. මොහු පසුව සඤ්ජය හිමියන් බවට පත් වූ බව විශ්වාස කෙරේ.
