파세나디 왕의 아들로, 귀가 어두운 대신의 잘못된 청취로 이 이름을 얻었다. 장군으로 임명되었다가 후에 왕위를 찬탈하고 과거의 모욕에 대한 복수로 사캬족을 학살하였다.
