카까완나띳사 왕의 왕비로, 두따가마니와 삿다띳사의 어머니이며, 본래 데위라는 이름의 깔야니 왕의 딸이었으나 바다에 표류하다 상륙한 인근 사원에서 이 이름을 얻었다

Wife of King Kākavaṇṇa Tissa and mother of Duṭṭhagāmaṇī and Saddhā Tissa, originally named Devī, daughter of the king of Kalyāṇī, who was cast adrift at sea and later took her name from the monastery near which she came ashore.
