カーヤヴィッチャンダニカ・スッタとも呼ばれる、身体の不浄で厭わしい本質についての経典で、比丘尼ジャナパダカリヤーニー・ナンダーがより高い境地に至るのを助けるためと、シリマーの葬儀の場と二度説かれたと言われる。
