A brahmin, father of Koṇāgamana Buddha.

The son of Aṇi Maṇḍavya who, after being bitten by a snake while retrieving his ball, was healed through Acts of Truth performed by his parents and by Kaṇha Dīpāyana, and who is identified with Rāhula.
