아침 이슬이 저녁이면 사라지는 것을 보고 삶의 무상함을 깨달아 왕위를 버린 왕자 유완자야(Yuvañjaya)에 관한 본생담으로, 동생 유디티라(Yudhiṭṭhila)와 함께 고행자가 된다.
