파두뭇타라 부처님의 두 상수 여제자 중 한 명이다.

시하하누의 딸이자 숫도다나의 여동생으로, 사캬족 숩파붓다와 결혼하여 밧다카차나와 데바닷타의 어머니가 되었으며, 부처님의 고모이다.

A daughter of Sīhahanu and sister of Suddhodana, who married Suppabuddha the Sakyan and became the mother of Bhaddakaccānā and Devadatta, and thus the paternal aunt of the Buddha.
